One of the most visually aesthetic trad climbs I’ve ever done in J-Tree… Imaginary Voyage [10d] out in Lost Horse Area.
No picture i’ve seen does it justice.
First time I’ve every used the BD #6, inserting your legs in 20ft horizontal crack, then doing constant pull ups to shuffle your thighs. It’s like hanging on the side of the building, and then using your lower legs to traverse around the building. Um yea…my bad, i’m horrible at describing this climb. Just go out there and experience it for yourself, and come back to me with a better description.
Im just being nostalgic because Jtree’s good weather window is coming to an end. BUT this memorial weekend saturday’s weather is 70F!!! FK YEA. going.

Went to a Stonemasters slideshow tonight and climbing legend JOHN LONG said he watches my videos!!!! LOL.
We exchanged numbers. He wants to work with me.
“your the social media maven”- John Long.
MELTING IN FANGIRLNESS. Now i know how prepubescent girls feel when they meet Justin Bieber. If you don’t know who John Long is… and your a rock climber, EDUCATE YOURSELF.

My lust is officially lost for Bear Grylls.
This fool can magically get up with a 20ft rope & 3 cams, with no belayer… Oh wait that’s because he’s on top-rope.
Top-rope tough guy. Oh and nice shoes bro.

If you EVER lead anything, especially trad..
PLEASE wear a helmet. I’m really disappointed in myself that it took me a horrific event experiencing/witnessing something today to realize how much a helmet can save a life.
I will forever wear one when I lead now, and please wear one too… along with all your partners. You won’t regret it. So much sh*t can happen in two seconds without your control.
Buy a helmet and wear it, when you rope up.
p.s. dont peer pressure anyone to lead if they dont want to, let them be a top rope tough guy.
